We are pleased to make this resource available to the entire Jewish community for conversions, preparation for shabbat, holidays or weddings, immersion of vessels, and for family purity purposes. If you would like more information on our mikveh or would like to schedule a visit, please contact Marilyn Fried at our synagogue office at (207) 773-0693 or email office@mainesynagogue.org. For general mikveh usage, we suggest a donation of $20. There are self-addressed envelopes at the mikvah that you can use to send in your donation. Please address checks to the address below:We recently formed a committee to oversee the renovation of the mikveh building. Members of the entire Jewish community of southern Maine are represented on the committee. Our objective is create a more beautiful space for performing this ritual and to educate the Jewish community about the traditional and non-traditional ways that the mikveh can be used to mark the transitions in our lives.
